What to bring to class:
* Round nose pliers
* Flat nose pliers
* Chain nose pliers
* Flush or micro-bevel cutters that will cut up to 12 gauge wire
* Steel bench block
Ball peen hammer
* Plastic mallet
* Needle files
Bead reamer (nice, but not necessary)
6 inch ruler
Soft tape measure
Sharpie/indelible pen
Grey mat
Note book to take notes
* Color wheel
Copy of Seller's permit if you want to avoid
paying tax on
beads and wire.
Please note:
If you wish to borrow one or more of the above starred items,
please let me know prior to your scheduled class. I want you
to feel you can take a class without making a significant investment.
You are also welcome to purchase these items in class or online before class.
Beads
Please bring a selection of beads, bead caps, and spacers that
have holes large enough to accommodate 16 gauge wire and 14 gauge
wire. I will also have beads available for purchase. Beads for
these projects should probably be on the smallish side of things.
The largest beads I used in the third sample are 11 x 8 mm. You
can also use charms and other adornments in your brangles.
